Squadron Updates

16 July 2008- Air and Mission Base Crew Provided VAWG had been tasked to support the Forest Service fighting a fire in the Great Dismal Swamp.  Personnel from Prince William Squadron provided many hours of support over the course of the 1 month long mission.

5 December 2007- Security Training Mandate from NHQ The National Executive Committee has decided to mandate Operational Security Training for all members of CAP.  This now includes Officers, Cadets and Patron members.  Please review the letter from the National Commander.  To take the training go to https://tests.cap.af.mil/opsec/main.cfm

1 December 2007- Squadron Small Unit Inspection The Small Unit Inspection for the squadron has been moved to January 2008 at the request of the Wing IG.  Please update your calendars and stay tuned to get the official date.

31 October 2007- Virginia Wing Safety Stand-down  Prince William Squadron participated in the Safety Stand Down program required by MER and VAWG.  If you did not attend this meeting please see the information distributed by the Squadron Commander and go to the Safety Page on our website.

19 March 2008- Updated Safety Page-Added information from Squadron's Safety Officer.

19 March 2008- Commander's Welcome Added-Added page from the Squadron Commander welcoming new members.

11 January 2008-Revised Squadron history page returned-Base line history of the squadron added to the structure again.  If you have information about the squadrons history contact the web administrator.

5 December 2007-Safety Section Updated with new material-Training material from the Safety Stand down presentation was added.  Please take a moment to review it.

16 November 2007-Safety Section Updated with new material-A message from the Squadron Commander was added that helps to comply with the Safety Stand down from VA Wing.  Please take a moment to review it.

31 October 2007- The Commanders Corner has been added so new information from the Squadron Commander or Deputy Commanders can be disseminated.  This information is provided for all members to stay up to date with Squadron Activities and directives.

22 October 2007-Added Embedded Maps  Embedded maps from Google will now be a part of the website.  When possible we will have these maps in place to facilitate getting to and from events. 

2 October 2007-Prince William Composite Squadron Re-launches Internet Presence

2 October 2007-Information with personal contact information has been moved for security.  Please go to https://wmu.nat.cap.gov/newmainMenu.asp for contact and qualification information.  You will be required to provide information to create an account there.

2 October 2007-Squadron members please update personal and emergency contact information.  You can update this information either at the WMU website or at NHQ's website.
