North Carolina and Virginia Wing Cadets: Student Applications are now open!

CAPF 60-81 Application for CAP Encampment or Special Activity (Do not send in this form without all signatures (NC/VA cadets - you will need Parent, Squadron and Group Commander signatures). All cadets from other Wings, will need Parent, Squadron, Group (if applicable) and Wing Commander signatures. CAPF 160 - CAP Member Health History Form CAPF 161 - Emergency Contact Information Form CAPF 163 - Permission for Provision of Minor Cadet Over-The County Medication Form Complete $225 payment at this PayPal link. OR Register for CEAP (Cadet Encampment Assistance Program) at this link AFTER 1 November. IF YOUR PAPERWORK AND PAYMENT IS INCOMPLETE OR MISSING, YOU DO NOT HAVE A RESERVED SLOT. PLEASE MAKE EVERY EFFORT TO HAVE ALL FORMS COMPLETE BEFORE SUBMITTING. Payment can also be made via check in the event you are not set up to transact online. Please include the name of the cadet in the reference section of your check and make all checks in the amount of $225 payable to NC Wing Civil Air Patrol and mail to: NC Wing Civil Air Patrol, 3520 Alamance Road, Burlington, NC 27215. **No forms should be mailed to this address; email submission only for registration paperwork.

Attention Senior Member Staff Applicants:

Please take note of the following dates and thank you for your attention to our shortened timeline to ensure a successful activity! 

11:59 PM EST 1 November - Senior member applications due 

In addition to attending encampment itself, it is expected that you will be able to attend these key activities:

26 October - (Cadets, and seniors able to help with scoring) - Cadre Selection Exercise at **CHANGED - New Location - VAWG HQ - 7401 Airfield Drive, Richmond, VA**

29 Nov - 1 December - (ALL) - Required Staff Training Weekend at Raptor Town, Joint Base Langley-Eustis 

28 December - (ALL) - Staff Arrival for the Encampment 

Cadets, before you apply, please make note of these requirements:

  • Must have successfully completed a minimum of one (1) encampment

  • Minimum grade of C/SSgt. If you do not currently hold the grade of C/SSgt you may still apply, however, you will be required to obtain this grade prior to the required staff training weekend on 29 Nov - 1 Dec. 

  • Familiarity with CAPP 60-70 Cadet Encampment Guide, CAPP 60-33 CAP Drill and Ceremonies, and CAPR 60-1 Cadet Program Management 

  • Have successfully completed ICUT (must have by required staff training weekend) 

  • Have successfully completed the basic AND intermediate risk management courses (must have by required staff training weekend) (these are located in AXIS - click AXIS at the top of LMS page in e-Services)

All cadet cadre will serve as part of the team in their assigned roles to ensure the encampment meets the goals outlined in CAPP 60-70. Cadet cadre will perform in their assigned role to the best of their ability. All cadet cadre will lead students through the course of encampment, ensuring the mission and vision are met.
