 Please contact Capt Doug Roberson to schedule all glider flights.

 At the present time, most glider flights will occur on Sunday afternoons beginning at 1:00pm at the Chesapeake Regional Airport (CPK).  As more members become qualified in the support positions, operations may be expanded to Saturdays. 

 The following requirements must be met before attempting to schedule your squadron for a day of gliding:

• It is highly desireable that senior members and senior cadets from your squadron  participate   in a day of glider operations and become qualified in some ground support positions before scheduling your cadets.  This will allow members of your squadron to fill duty positions for the day.  Please do not count on Group 2 personnel to fill all required positions.

• A senior member assigned as Cadet Supervisor must accompany your cadets on the day of glider activities.  This person will be in charge of the cadets that will be taking orientation flights.  This person will be responsible for coordinating with the FRO and the Air Boss concerning sequencing of the cadets.  This person will also be responsible for assuring that cadets have proper uniforms, identification, and O ride syllabus paperwork with them.   Please provide name and contact information for this person when initially contacting Capt Doug Roberson. 

• At least 1 week before the scheduled activity date, please provide the following information to Capt Doug Roberson, via email, for each cadet:

Name, CAPID, Weight, Syllabus #, Phone Number, email address (if applicable), age, and whether the cadet has completed the Wing Runner Course.

        If you are not sure of available dates, please contact Capt Doug Roberson.
