Coastal Composite Squadron

FROM THE COMMANDER

Welcome to the website of the Civil Air Patrol's Coastal Composite Squadron!

We are one of twenty-nine Civil Air Patrol squadrons in the Virginia Wing. Formerly called the Norfolk Composite Squadron, our current name more accurately describes our routine service area along Virginia's eastern and southeastern shorelines, and the greater Hampton Roads area.

Our squadron is headquartered in Virginia Beach, Virginia and our aircraft operate out of both the Newport News/Williamsburg International Airport and the Chesapeake Airport.

Squadron members volunteer their valuable time in support of Civil Air Patrol's numerous mission areas including: :

Emergency Services
Aerospace Education
Counter Drug Operations
Homeland Defense
Counter Drug Operations
Search and Rescue
Disaster Relief.........and many more

We always welcome new members to join us!

You don't need to be a pilot or to have experience in any of our mission areas; just a desire to help your community and to be an active member.

Our squadron meets every Thursday evening from 6:30pm to 9pm at our squadron Building 424 located at Camp Pendleton (just south of the Virginia Beach resort area).
