• All Seniors MUST complete OPSEC Training ASAP at https://tests.cap.af.mil/opsec
  or their ES quals will be suspended.

• In order to participate in emergency services missions, members are strongly encouraged to obtain a call-out pager.  Pagers are the primary notification to members of a mission.  The cost is $40.  Please see 1Lt Simmons to pick one up.

• Orders have been received from CAP National Headquarters requiring all units to secure any documents containing CAP radio frequencies.  This includes the removal of frequency lists from bulletin boards, locking the van that contains a notebook with frequencies, and not having communications directories laying around the offices.  This requirement is part of Homeland Defense and will become more important as CAP received new frequencies over the next couple of years. 

• ARCHER TRAINING.  The GA-8 airvan has been assigned to VAWG. The Wing Commander has asked that all seniors wishing to participate in the ARCHER system on board the aircraft, take the ARCHER course on line as soon as possible. The course may be found by going to the National CAP website and clicking on "online courses and exams". It is a timed test, so you may want to review the study guide and sample reviews in advance.
