Please note we do not meet on federal holidays and we follow the Fairfax County Public school schedule during the school year. Please contact our squadron commander with any questions.

  The Burke Composite Squadron is based in West Springfield, VA. The term "Composite" in the name indicates that the squadron may include both senior members (adults) and cadets (teens). The Burke Composite Squadron is within Group 3 of the Virginia Wing.

  The Squadron was originally chartered in April 1989, as the Springfield Senior Squadron, and was initially composed of only senior members. Since its original chartering, the charter was revised to its current name, the Burke Composite Squadron

  In recent years, Burke has focused much of its activities and energy in support of the Cadet Program. However, Burke has a growing level of activity in Emergency Services in both air and ground Search and Rescue (SAR).
